Principal's Message

  • Welcome to Lincoln Elementary!

We hope that you enjoy each day at Lincoln Elementary.  The staff and students are excited to welcome you into our building.  Please call the office for a tour.  We would love to show you what new and exciting things are happening in our classrooms.  Our new Language Arts resource is providing some great adventures in learning. Ask your student what is new and exciting in their classroom.

March is the month of Cooperation.  Talk to your students about cooperation in your home and how it works.

    Cooperation Newsletter:

We all experience situations in which we must work with others to accomplish a goal or task in our life. Whether we are working with friends or with someone new, we need tools to help us successfully navigate those situations and keep our relationships healthy. This month's focus for 4th grade is on Cooperation with the help of practicing conflict resolution.

    Conversation Starters:

    • What does Cooperation mean in your own words?
    • Why do you think practicing conflict resolution helps us be more Cooperative?

    Safety First!

We work very hard at keeping our children safe.  Please check in at the office every time. Call ahead if you are planning on having lunch with your student, you will be required to get a visitor badge when you come into the building, staff members will be greeting you in the halls asking if you need anything.  Update information throughout the year, ie. phone numbers, addresses, approved pickup and drop off adults.  If students are not picked up at the end of the school day, they will wait in the office until the approved adult is contacted and arrangements are made to get picked up.  HANDS applications are available for before and after school care at Lewis and Clark Elementary.

Cell Phones are not allowed on students during the school day. They may be placed in the student's backpack, teachers' desk, or office in silent or off mode until the end of the day. If students are using cell phones during the day, they will be given to the teacher or administrator until the end of the day.  If repeated offenses follow, parents will be contacted to pick up the cell phone from the school administrator.

I look forward to an amazing year!  Please reach out with questions and concerns.

Please take some time to thank a teacher, students, parents, and friends.  Kindness is catching, so spread it around.
